Hot Enough For Ya?
OK, we all hate the jackass that asks that question. But, damn it is freakin hot in the city, hot in the city tonight. There is an extreme heat alert issued in Toronto and that means there are cooling stations set up around the city. If you know of shutins or elderly that may have trouble getting around please check on them to make sure they have cooling available to them. Liraries, shopping malls and movie theatres are great for temporary relief if you don’t have AC. Driving back from the cottage yesterday I was cringing as I watched the external termperature gauge on my dashboard climbing the closer I got to Toronto. I’m loath to go outside today. Ah, well, suck it up.
